For more than 1,000 years, Beijing—one of the oldest of the world’s cities—has served as China’s nerve center. Here you can explore the energy and excitement of modern-day China while also appreciating fabulous historical landmarks, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Imperial Palaces of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (known as the Forbidden City) and the Summer Palace.
This is a truly one-of-a-kind Beijing getaway: Your package centers on the chance to help rebuild a portion of China’s historic Great Wall. The segment you’ll work on isn’t yet open to the public; this is an exclusive opportunity for experiencing dramatic history in a hands-on fashion. You’ll even receive an official certificate for your restoration work!
